I went to the last lab in my chemistry class for the semester today. The expression "as exciting as watching water boil" accurately described the lab. I was kind of disappointed that the last lab couldn't be more exciting, like something involving explosions or pretty changing colors. No, today's lab was just melting and freezing a substance, all the while measuring its temperature in order to graph out its heating and melting curves. We watched the substance melt; then we watched the substance freeze. Fun fun fun. Oh well... there's always next semester. Now for some discourse pertaining to gustatory matters:
Pudding Party! Today, the lovely ladies at the dining hall gave us a wonderful snack. Every night, from 9 to 10:30 p.m., we can go get a late night snack at the dining hall in case students get hungry later in the evening. The selection varies day by day, varying from cereal, to fruit, to baked goods. Tonight, they had a huge selection of pudding: vanilla, chocolate, tapioca, and butterscotch. They even had whipped cream and sprinkles as toppings! What a delight. I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I had a little too much pudding this evening... But it was tasty, and I couldn't help it!!!
