Well, it's official; it looks like I'll be back home in wonderful California from January 28 to February 3! I get a week off after finals before the spring semester begins, and I'm looking forward to spending it back in California. This is more than welcome news after this week's below-zero weather.

And what a cold week it's been. Apparently, tomorrow will be the coldest day ever. Wow, last year, it was the worst winter in goodness knows how long with regards to the snow and sheer duration, and this year it's the worst in terms of low temperatures. Crazy weather.

Today, I worked madly on getting my Chinese portfolio in order for my interview tomorrow. I also dined with some friends in Quincy House. They had gnocchi, little Italian potato dumplings, which I tried for the first time, as well as apple crisp, which was a nice dessert.

Quote of the Day: "It's loose tea for loose women!"
